PEGGY MILLARD
FOUNDER
Throughout the years, Peggy has established herself as one of the best nightclub operators in New York City.
She has served in every capacity in the nightclub industry, from manager to owner.
She started handling and booking world-famous bands at the Ritz and Downtown.
Her talent and organizational skills allowed her to open and successfully run Exit, the largest nightclub on the East Coast, with more than 7,000 patrons each night.
After an incredible first year, she simultaneously went on to open up SPA, a celebrity hotspot that was voted “Nightclub of the 21st century” by In Style magazine.
Through her numerous ties to music, sports and film industry related celebrities, and her history in modeling and fine arts, she knows how to attract the elite, create a buzz and make the parties immensely popular wherever she goes.
Peggy’s innate talent for public relations, her larger-than-life personality and her experience makes her a well-known and respected figure of the New York City nightlife. She is a graduate from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London.
Whether during the celebrity-laden SPA years, or the more recent projects, Peggy leaves her mark.
THIERRY POMIES
FOUNDER
Thierry, a French native, arrived in New York City in 1994 with a M.A in Business & Finance from the University of Bordeaux and a degree in Political Science from the Free University of Berlin in hand.
Simultaneously, he started working nights in hi-end restaurants and quickly moved on to nightclubs. After a few years, he became General Manager and turned his focus to the science of nightlife.
His experience and background allow him to run any type of venue, from small private lounges to larger nightclubs. His knowledge of the construction and licensing phases as well as the operational and set-up process is extensive.
Thierry is well-known for his organizational skills, his problem solving abilities, his good character and his leadership skills.
He has consulted on numerous projects here and overseas, in such diverse capacities as opening new ventures on short notice, redesigning venues for maximum efficiency, creating unique drink menus or advising large international hospitality groups.
Thierry is equally at ease with restaurant and nightclub driven projects and is often contacted for “impossible” missions.
Fluent in three languages (English, German and French), Thierry first started his career as a freelance translator and collaborated with international lawyers, banking institutions and worldwide corporations.
RICHIE ROMERO
PROMOTIONS
Richie joins Hospitality after 20 years of experience in the marketing and promotions industry of New York City restaurants and nightlife.
He is currently the marketing and promotions director for Butter Group (1Oak, Darby, Butter), a consultant for China Grill Management, as well as the East Coast marketing consultant for Angel Management Group (AMG).
Richie is also part owner of The Diner in the Meatpacking District along with Mark Packer and Sergio Riva.Romero honed his talent at the young age of sixteen, working as a promoter at Limelight for Peter Gatien, the legendary club king of the 90’s. In the span of just two years, he quickly ascended to the role of promotional director, and oversaw the marketing for Limelight, Palladium, Club U.S.A., and Tunnel.
His ability to draw the right mix of tastemakers and increase profitability on events led him to start Clique, his own marketing and promotions company from 1992 to 2003, which worked with a range of restaurant, nightlife, and hotel clients in New York, Las Vegas, and Miami.
Romero was also the owner of B’Lo Lounge in Chelsea and 151 Lounge. In 2004, he partnered with Howard Stein and Stratis Morfogen at Aubar, an upscale bar and lounge on the Upper East Side.
His transition to the restaurant industry occurred in 2005, when he joined a partnership with Mark Packer and Sergio Riva to open The Diner, located on a prime corner in the Meatpacking District (14th Street and 9th Avenue) where he is still part owner today. Richie was brought on-board for marketing at The Stanton Social by owner Rich Wolf and is credited for developing the concept of the dinner party on Monday nights.
He offers unparalleled expertise in the restaurant, nightlife, and hotel arena and maintains a strong and diverse network of influential contacts in fashion, business, music, and lifestyle.
DAVID FEIT
MARKETING
David Feit brings 13 years of experience to the technology and digital marketing arena.
As founder of Velvet List, LLC David created one of the largest and most visited nightlife marketing and promotions web sites in New York City.
Velvet List utilized proprietary customer management and reservation software, created by Mr. Feit, to produce the highest volume of customers in nightclubs at the time.
After selling Velvet List in 2009 David used the skills he honed at Velvet List to create a venue management system with his new company MNM Software, LLC. MNM serves many high end establishments in the New York area, and is an essential tool for managing their customer data, reservations and events through its MyNightclubManager product suite.
In addition to his technology expertise, David has served as marketing director for Sky Room, a luxurious rooftop lounge in the heart of midtown Manhattan, for the past 4 years.
David is also co-owner of Añejo, a Mexican restaurant and tequileria in Hell’s Kitchen, along with celebrity chef Angelo Sosa.
David was responsible for creating the concept, name and branding for Añejo, and is helping to oversee its expansion to a second location in Tribeca in 2014.
David Feit holds a BA in Math/Economics from Wesleyan University in Connecticut.
RALPHIE GIANOTTI
OPERATIONS
Ralphie has more than 20 years experience in the nightclub industry, here (Azza, GLO, Powder, Show, Float, Chaos NY & Chaos Miami, SPY bar, Limelight, Amazon Village) and in his homeland, the Netherlands (Paradiso and Tivoli in Amsterdam).
He has been part of some of the most successful ventures New York City has ever seen: Chaos defined the term “bottle service” as we know it; SPY Bar was voted the club of the nineties by In Style Magazine; Float was hailed as one of the “craziest” club ever by most industry standards.
His knowledge of the construction and design process, his creativity and his constant drive to perfection makes him a sought-after talent. His operational experience and honesty makes him a valuable advisor.
Ralphie attended the School of Visual Arts in New York City for Interior and Commercial Design.
JESSICA COMPERIATI
OPERATIONS
Jessica started her career in 2002 in the hospitality industry waiting tables at New York’s famous Coffee Shop in Union Square, while earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from SUNY New Paltz School of Business.
After graduating, she took on one tough challenge after another and quickly acquired a unique experience and great reputation in the nightlife and hospitality industry.
From her times at Asti, a boutique artist management company where she discovered the ins and outs of the music industry and talent management on a global level to her multi-tiered role as an executive assistant and event director for a nightlife group operating in NYC, Las Vegas and Cancun, or even as controller and operations manager for a hospitality group, Jessica has always pushed herself to learn and master all of the aspects of nightlife.
This well-rounded top-to-bottom experience coupled with a strong work ethic and a sharp analytical mind makes Jessica a major asset and a great advisor on any project
